RDC EuroNight: Tickets for the winter timetable bookable from 18 September
Night train between Berlin, Hamburg and Stockholm for journeys from 13 December 2026 to 16 January 2027 on sale – new stop in København Syd
Travellers can plan their journeys with the RDC EuroNight between Germany and Sweden for the festive season and the turn of the year from Friday, 18 September. Ticket sales for journeys in the period from 13 December 2026 to 16 January 2027 start during the course of 18 September. Tickets can be booked via www.nachtexpress.de.
With the timetable change in December, the RDC EuroNight will continue to connect Stockholm via Copenhagen with Hamburg and Berlin three times a week. From Stockholm, the night train will continue to run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. On Tuesdays the service ends in Hamburg-Altona, while on Thursdays and Saturdays the RDC EuroNight continues to Berlin Hauptbahnhof.
On the route to Sweden, the trains depart from Germany on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. On Wednesdays the journey starts in Hamburg-Altona, while on Mondays and Fridays it starts at Berlin Hauptbahnhof.
New stop in København Syd
With the timetable change, an additional stop will be introduced. The RDC EuroNight will in future also serve København Syd. This makes the night train service even easier to reach, especially for travellers in the Greater Copenhagen area. A range of comfort categories will continue to be available for the journey. In the 1st class sleeper carriage, up to three people travel in a compartment with their own shower and WC. In addition, 2nd class sleeper compartments for two people can be booked.
The couchette carriages offer space for up to six people per compartment. Travellers can either book individual places or an entire compartment for exclusive use. The offer is complemented by seating carriages.
Interrail remains valid
Interrail travellers can also use the RDC EuroNight. Interrail passes are accepted as tickets, but a reservation is additionally required. This can be made via www.nachtexpress.de for seating, couchette and sleeper carriages. With the start of sales for the new timetable, RDC Deutschland is continuing to operate the international night train service between Stockholm, Hamburg and Berlin beyond the timetable change. The RDC EuroNight connects Sweden and Germany overnight, thus continuing to offer travellers a direct alternative for international rail travel.
