Blue AUTOZUG Sylt moderately adjusts ticket prices due to increased energy costs
The aim is to increase prices only temporarily
The Blue AUTOZUG Sylt is moderately adjusting its ticket prices due to the currently sharply increased oil and energy costs. The background is the effects of the war in the Middle East and the associated developments on international energy markets.
From Wednesday, 13 May, the fare will increase by 3 euros when purchasing tickets at the terminal. The adjustment has become necessary to at least partially offset the significantly increased operating costs in rail transport. "The ongoing effects of the war in the Middle East and the resulting developments on the energy markets have also been significantly burdening transport companies for several months," explains Julian Rönsch, COO RU Schleswig-Holstein at RDC Deutschland. "We expressly regret the necessary price adjustment. At the same time, we hope to keep the additional burdens for our passengers as low as possible and the measure as limited in time as possible." The adjustment is already reflected in online prices. For travellers, it is more worthwhile than ever to book online early in order to benefit from the most favourable available fares.
The Blue AUTOZUG Sylt expressly thanks all passengers for their understanding and loyalty.
